Buckle Farms Ltd was established in 2011, it is the operational arm of the Buckle Family and carries out arable and grass contracting services over an area in excess of 1850ha based in Holderness. The company employs a highly skilled arable team which is supplemented at busy times of the year by additional temporary help. In March 2016 the company started hauling bulk materials – such as, Wheat, Barley, Oilseed Rape, Soya. Operating two Scania trucks with Fruehauf bulk trailers. Pig Feed is milled on site using a Harbro Tropper mobile mill. This uses grain grown on the farm to produce high quality Pig feed for local pig producers. The company also contract slurry spreading using Joskin Tankers, Dribble bar booms and 24m tramspread boom. This ensure direct contact with the growing crop giving essential nutritional benefits to the soil.
